Brian Singer is a San Francisco-based creative director who has led multidisiplinary creative teams at both Facebook and Pinterest. Prior to that, he ran Altitude, a studio working with companies such as Apple, Adidas, and Chronicle Books. During his 20+ year career, he’s worked with a number of design firms in the bay area, including Morla Design (Levi’s, Nordstrom, Design within Reach) and Pentagram (Microsoft, Nikon, Sun Microsystems).
Brian has received international attention for his initiatives such as The 1000 Journals Project, which spanned 40 countries and was turned into a feature-length documentary as well as being exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. He’s won numerous awards, authored three books, given talks around the world, taught design at Academy of Art University, and served on the advisory board for the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, and the national board of AIGA, the professional association for design.
